Dr Yulia Lazarova

In 2016 I completed a BSc degree in Psychology at the University of Glasgow. Being predominantly interested in experimental psychology and neuropsychology, I decided to enhance my knowledge with an MSc degree in Research Methods in Psychological sciences, focusing mainly on brain imaging methods. I got particularly passionate about studying visual perception and the role of feedback signal in the brain for forming internal representations. Under the supervision of Professor Lars Muckli I worked on a project investigating the temporal dynamics of feedback information during visual perception using fMRI. I remained at the University of Glasgow and completed my PhD in the Muckli lab. I am currently in a postdoc position and my projects use fMRI to investigate the role of predictive processing in the formation of visual perceptions.
