In 2020, I graduated with a First Class MA (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Glasgow,  and was awarded the Callum Neil Air prize to the best dissertation in my year. In 2021 I completed my MSc by research masters, also in the University of Glasgow. My dissertation and master’s thesis investigated non-feedforward effects in the early visual cortex under Prof. Lars Muckli’s supervision. In these projects, I used fMRI, MVPA decoding and psychophysics to explore multisensory processes in aphantasic participants, who report absent visual imagery, and spatial consciousness in the general population. Throughout my PhD, which begun in 2021, I will continue to develop these projects in the Muckli lab. Additionally, I will also collaborate with the Philiastides lab in a project which will use simultaneous EEG/fMRI to explore how the decision-making process of aphantasics may differ to the one of the general population.
